The cast of 42 were ready to perform Bye Bye Birdie in Kyogle this month.

Instead a a lockdown in neighbouring Lismore and Richmond Valley which prevents some actors performing has meant the cancellation of the play.

Kyogle LGA has reported zero covid cases and is not in lockdown.

Producer and director Lynette Zito said tickets would be honoured and the show would be rescheduled.

While we can't see the play, here are some photos from the dress rehearsal last Sunday.
